Light (Non-aqueous) Phase Liquid Contaminant (LNAPL) Plume Mapping
LNAPLLNAPL can be performed under ideal conditions. Typically, a shallow water table, measurable thickness LNAPL, and homogeneous aquifer are necessary to have a successful survey. The best examples of LNAPL mapping come from radar records, where the LNAPL interrupts the presence of otherwise distinct horizontal layers of subsurface material.
